GGJ‑TYPE AUTOMATIC REACTIVE POWER COMPENSATION CABINET is applicable to distribution systems of industrial and mining enterprises as well as residential buildings for reactive power compensation. It is designed for matching use with GGD‑type low‑voltage distribution switchgear. According to the reactive power compensation demand of power grid, it automatically controls 2‑10 groups (steps) of capacitor banks to switch‑in or switch‑out the power grid within an interval of 10‑120 S, with compensation capacity ranging from 60 kvar to 400 kvar. It realizes automatic reactive power compensation, stabilizes voltage quality of power supply network, reduces losses of power transmission‑distribution system and transformers, so as to save energy consumption and improve power supply quality of the grid.
It is used in three‑phase three‑wire, four‑wire and five‑wire low‑voltage distribution systems with AC 50 Hz, rated voltage 380 V or 660 V and rated current up to 2500 A, for improving power factor of power and lighting distribution circuits.
