PRODUCT BRIEF

GCS‑TYPE LOW‑VOLTAGE WITHDRAWABLE SWITCHGEAR adopts steel plates to form an enclosed enclosure. Electrical components of incoming and outgoing circuits are installed in withdrawable drawers. Earthed metal plates or plastic functional baffles are used to separate functional units from busbars or cables, forming three independent zones: busbar zone, functional unit zone and cable zone. Partition measures are also arranged between each functional unit. The drawer‑type switchgear features high reliability, safety and interchangeability, which belongs to an advanced type of switchgear.

PRODUCT FEATURES

  1. Increase the thermal capacity of adapters, and greatly reduce additional temperature rise on connectors, cable terminals and partition plates caused by temperature rise of adapters.
  2. Clear and reliable separation between functional units and compartments. The failure of one unit will not affect the operation of other units, confining faults to the minimum scope.
  3. Horizontal busbar layout provides excellent dynamic and thermal stability for the assembly, capable of withstanding short‑circuit current impact of 80/176 kA.
  4. Connection between the assembly and external cables is completed inside the cable compartment, allowing cables to feed‑in and feed‑out from top or bottom. Zero‑sequence current transformer is installed in the cable compartment for convenient installation and maintenance.
  5. Drawer units are equipped with sufficient secondary connectors (32 pairs for unit 1 and above, 20 pairs for 1/2 unit), meeting quantity requirements of contact points for computer interfaces and automatic control circuits.

SERVICE CONDITIONS

  1. Ambient air temperature: not higher than +40 ℃ and not lower than ‑15 ℃.
  2. The average temperature within 24 hours shall not exceed +50 ℃. Derated operation shall be carried out according to actual conditions if exceeded.

APPLICATION FIELDS

It is a low‑voltage complete power distribution assembly applied in three‑phase AC 50(60) Hz power generation and supply systems with rated operational voltage 380 V(400) V, (600) V and rated current up to 4000 A, for power distribution, centralized motor control and reactive power compensation.
