SEC has successfully delivered and officially commissioned one customized non-standard special split transformer (Model SFFZ-60000/20) for the RED DRAGON / PIEM 60MVA Project in Chile, achieving stable power supply and marking another key breakthrough in SEC’s delivery of high-difficulty special power equipment for South American new energy projects.

Different from conventional standard transformers, the SFFZ-60000/20 unit is a professional split transformer equipped with dual low-voltage windings, belonging to a highly customized non-standard special power device. The project featured prominent challenges including complex structural design, strict technical performance indicators and an extremely tight construction schedule. Facing rigorous customer requirements and technical difficulties, SEC’s technical team carried out repeated scheme demonstration, structural optimization and parameter calibration in the early stage, overcoming multiple design and manufacturing bottlenecks to ensure the product fully matched the project’s special operational demands.

As the end client of the project, ENGIE, a world-leading global energy enterprise, assigned professional engineers to conduct full-process factory supervision and on-site inspection throughout the production cycle. Under strict on-site supervision and rigorous international quality assessment standards, SEC implemented comprehensive full-process quality control from raw material selection, precision processing to final assembly and testing. The transformer successfully passed all technical inspections and acceptance procedures with outstanding performance.

After orderly shipment, on-site installation, commissioning and grid connection, the custom split transformer has been officially put into safe and stable operation. The smooth commissioning of the project fully verifies SEC’s strong independent R&D and customized manufacturing capabilities for high-difficulty non-standard special transformers. In the future, SEC will continue to tackle complex technical challenges, provide high-reliability customized power equipment solutions for global high-standard energy projects, and further expand its influence in the South American energy market.
