  SEC has successfully delivered and commissioned a full set of high-performance power transformers for AirTrunk’s flagship JHB1 hyperscale data center project in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. All units are currently operating stably and reliably, providing robust, low-carbon power guarantee for one of Malaysia’s most efficient and sustainable AI-ready data center campuses, and empowering the high-quality development of Southeast Asia’s digital infrastructure.

  Located in Johor Bahru with superior geographical advantages for cross-border interconnection, the AirTrunk JHB1 data center stands as Malaysia’s most energy-efficient and sustainable hyperscale facility. Covering a land area of 10.3 hectares, the campus features 21,900 square meters of professional data hall space, 370 square meters of office and storage areas and 20 independent data halls, with a total capacity exceeding 150MW. Built as a carrier-neutral data center with diversified optical fiber access routes and 132kV high-voltage power supply, the project adopts a world-leading innovative cooling solution, achieving an ultra-low design Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of 1.15. Supported by industry-standard SLA, the facility ensures 100% operational availability and complies with the highest global safety, quality and sustainability certifications. Serving core cloud availability zones, the campus builds a powerful domestic and international cross-border connection system, driving Johor Bahru and Singapore to evolve into a key regional technological hub.

  Tailored to the high-standard, high-reliability and energy-saving operational demands of hyperscale data centers, SEC delivered a complete suite of customized power equipment for the project, including 2 sets of SFSZ-100000/132 transformers, 1 set of SFZ-100000/132 transformer and 3 sets of SJD-6900/22 grounding transformers. Strictly manufactured in accordance with international industrial standards and data center ultra-high reliability specifications, all equipment passed rigorous testing and smooth commissioning, maintaining stable and efficient operation onsite.
